WebAug 12, 2024 · After a few very hot days in Boston we opted to find a beach before arriving in Salem. I looked here on TripAdvisor and Nahant beach came up. This is a very long, beautiful sandy beach on a peninsula about 1/2 hour north of Boston. It’s well maintained and has bathrooms towards the far end and port-a-potties closer to the mainland.
